Our Service Opportunity Fair and Soup’r Sunday/Pack the Pantry is this Sunday, February 7 This will provide an excellent opportunity to renew or continue your commitment to Christ by signing up to assist in the various areas of work and by restocking our food pantry.

We will begin the day with Bible classes at 9:00 a.m., followed by worship at 10:00 a.m.  We’ll enjoy a great fellowship meal together at 11:30 a.m.  Instead of a potluck meal, soup and crackers will be provided.  Members are asked to make a donation to offset the cost of the soup; the suggested donation is $5.00 per person.  All members are also asked to bring drinks and desserts.  The Service Opportunity Fair will take place during and immediately after lunch, and will be followed by a second worship service at 1:30 p.m.  There will not be a 6:00 p.m. worship service on that day.

School Supply Giveaway!

On Saturday, August 1, Highland Heights opened our doors to a line of eager children and families.  In under an hour, we handed out packages of supplies to 150 Rutherford county schoolchildren.

A big thanks to all who helped make this giveaway possible:  the Silver Streaks who packaged the supplies, the Young Families and College/Young Professionals who handed them out, the Bible Hour puppeteers for entertaining the kids, and the Highlighters who organized the supplies and the Ice Cream Social for our school teacher members on Sunday night.  Most of all, thank you to the families who gave us an opportunity to serve you as you prepare your children to return to school.  We hope you’ll come worship with us any time you are able!
