Campaign
We have set the dates for our 2008 Campaign!! The Campaign will be July 22-27, and We will be headed to Clemson, South Carolina. Please, Mark these dates in your calendar and plan to attend our campaign. It is going to AMAZING!!!! THIRST
Our next “THIRST”, for our teens, will be on March 19 . “THIRST” is our worship style devotionals that will happen every other Wednesday Night during the school year. The devotionals will contain beautiful A Capella singing, high impact speakers, and a friendly, laid back atmosphere. So start inviting your friends to our spirit and truth filled worship, “THIRST”, March 19, 7:00 pm. We will begin promptly at 7 pm. There will be refreshments available at 6:40 pm, twenty minutes before “THIRST”. So, come early, enjoy some refreshments and fellowship, and bring as many friends as possible.
Church Camp
The dates for our Summer Bible Camp are July 13-18 at Short Mountain Bible Camp. Stay tuned for our theme and more details. Church Camp is a great week of getting to know new people, seeing old friends, and more importantly, beginning or deepening a personal relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!!!! Sports Night
We will be starting “Sports Night” again TONIGHT, February 11. “Sports Night” happens every Monday night starting at 7 pm through 9 pm. We gather in our educational building and play a variety of indoor sports such as basketball, football, soccer, G-ball, and whiffleball. We will also have a short devotional around 7:55 pm. Come join us every Monday Night starting February 11 at 7 pm.
Wilber’s Thoughts
Well, I survived. I survived my wisdom teeth surgery of 2008, and I am now on the back end of the recovery process. My experience has not been a negative one at all. I had heard horror stories from some people about their nightmarish experiences. I heard, “You do not want dry sockets” or” You will be down for at least a week”. Two days is all I was down. I want to thank all those who prayed for me, sent me encouraging texts, called, and asked how I was doing. Just knowing people care can make recovery seem to go better and faster. I definitely want to thank Dr. Spivey, AMAZING job!!!! So, If you know someone who is sick, injured, or not feeling their best, let’s do what we can to let them know you care. It could make the difference between someone having a good or bad day!!!!

Wilber’s Thoughts
I hope everyone has had a tremendously awesome day. Our website has taken on a whole new look, which I am totally pumped. Three weeks from now, We will have our first “THIRST” on February 13. We have our first parent/volunteer meeting of 2008 on March 2. We will unveil a new logo and theme in the following months.
There are a lot of things that I am excited about and really looking forward to in 2008. I pray and hope that the excitement we have for our upcoming events, we have for speading the story of Christ. Take every opportunity to show your excitement for Christ to everyone you may encounter in your daily life.
