2HYM info packets

Parents who attended the March 7 meeting received new information packets.  If you have not returned your forms, please do so on Sunday.  If you did not receive a packet, be sure you or your child in 2HYM brings home a packet on Sunday.  All 6-12 grade students must have a signed medical release and behavior contract on file to participate in events this year.  The other forms are also very important to provide good communication to your family and keep you informed of all upcoming events.

The March/April 2HYM newsletter was also distributed at the meeting.  Click on the link in case you haven’t gotten your paper copy yet.

Wilber’s Thoughts

thumbs upWell, I survived. I survived my wisdom teeth surgery of 2008, and I am now on the back end of the recovery process. My experience has not been a negative one at all. I had heard horror stories from some people about their nightmarish experiences. I heard, “You do not want dry sockets” or” You will be down for at least a week”. Two days is all I was down. I want to thank all those who prayed for me, sent me encouraging texts, called, and asked how I was doing. Just knowing people care can make recovery seem to go better and faster. I definitely want to thank Dr. Spivey, AMAZING job!!!! So, If you know someone who is sick, injured, or not feeling their best, let’s do what we can to let them know you care. It could make the difference between someone having a good or bad day!!!!

PS

To those who have had their wisdom teeth removed,

Do you ever stop trying to feel with your tongue the “pits” in the back of your mouth?
