Wilber’s Thoughts
Well, I survived. I survived my wisdom teeth surgery of 2008, and I am now on the back end of the recovery process. My experience has not been a negative one at all. I had heard horror stories from some people about their nightmarish experiences. I heard, “You do not want dry sockets” or” You will be down for at least a week”. Two days is all I was down. I want to thank all those who prayed for me, sent me encouraging texts, called, and asked how I was doing. Just knowing people care can make recovery seem to go better and faster. I definitely want to thank Dr. Spivey, AMAZING job!!!! So, If you know someone who is sick, injured, or not feeling their best, let’s do what we can to let them know you care. It could make the difference between someone having a good or bad day!!!!
PS
To those who have had their wisdom teeth removed,
Do you ever stop trying to feel with your tongue the “pits” in the back of your mouth?

Got something to say?

No, you don’t. Well, I still occasionally feel the strangeness of the affected areas at the back of my teeth. *shrugs*
You will eventually stop feeling them.
It is definetly wierd for a little while, but
you eventually stop. At least I did. But
it feels like my teeth have kind of moved
and feeled in those spaces.
But it sounds like you didn’t have a bad
experience, but was not good at all.
I hated it and probably wouldn’t ever
do it again.
But glad to hear you are doing well

Shelby, She was one of the many who spoke of the dreaded “dry sockets”.
Hey dude i went to the dentist the other day, and they said that 2 of my wisdom teeth have come in too early, and that i may have to get them removed. They also said that the other 2 are comin in under the gums crooked or somethin like that.
