Wayne Cornwell - Pulpit Minister - wcornwell @highlandheights.net - Wayne is one of Highland Height’s strongest assets. He has served as our preacher since November of 1990. He graduated from Lipscomb University in 1982, married his wonderful wife and has two beautiful children. He is blessed with an amazing gift of speech and has a rock-solid foundation of Bible knowledge. Wayne’s favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28 which reads, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Since Wayne’s arrival, the congregation has grown drastically and much of that can be attributed to his dedication to teaching the Gospel of Christ. We are very thankful to have Wayne as part of our family. |

He enjoys teaching and planning events for our teens to grow closer to Christ. He is married to a wonderful woman, Alison. Wilber can also bench press 300 pounds. Wilber’ s favorite Bible verse is Ephesians 3:20-21, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Joshua Pappas - Minister of Education & Evangelism - jpappas @highlandheights.net - Joshua Pappas is a devoted minister of the gospel of Christ. He has been involved in ministry for more than ten years as a teacher, youth worker, personal evangelist, and pulpit preacher. He came to Highland January 1, 2008, and joyfully serves as our Minister of Education & Evangelism. Nedia Carlin - Secretary - ncarlin @highlandheights.net - Nedia has been the Highland Heights church secretary since 1990. She has been a tremendous asset to us and has been an intregral part of our growth over the last several years. She is responsible for coordinating dates and times of all the events, updating our calendar, creating and mailing our bulletin each week, and she handles all our calls. In other words, she keeps us organized and heading in the right direction.Nedia’s favorite Bible verse is “This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Her favorite part of her job is when she gets to write poetry and slide it into the weekly bulletins.
