Highland Highlighters
The Highland Highlighters are the group between the Young Families and the Silver Streaks. We are generally described as being between the ages of 40 and 60, but we won’t turn away anyone who wants to participate in our fun-filled activities (even if you’re not using highlights to cover up those gray hairs!) Some of us are empty-nesters, and some of us are almost there; some of us are married and some are single.
This year is off to a great start. In March, about 25 Highlighters enjoyed an evening at Chaffin’s Barn Dinner Theatre, where we honored three milestone birthdays: Wayne Cornwell and Sandra Nickell both turned 50 this month, while Doug Carlin turned 60.
Spring heralds the new newsletter. Mark your calendars for April 25, as we honor our graduating seniors. May 1 is a workday for our group when we’ll do a little sprucing up on the church building’s landscaping. Slip on on your garden gloves and some sunscreen and come join us!

We are currently gathering updated information from all Highlighters, so please be sure you fill out an information sheet and return to Lori or Terry Lea ASAP! If you’ve lost your info sheet, never fear - here’s a copy you can print off and return.
